Four people injured outside the former Charlie Hebdo building in Paris

 

Four people were stabbed in Paris near the former building of the French weekly political satire magazine Charlie Hebdo, reports AFP.

It is reported that the attacker was quickly detained, and the police are looking for an accomplice. Two victims in critical condition are in the hospital, doctors are now fighting for their lives.

The area where the incident occurred is cordoned off by law enforcement agencies. The agency’s source in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Fifth Republic said that a terrorist version cannot be ruled out yet.

French Prime Minister Jean Castex went to the scene.
