Afghan minister who left for Germany became a courier in Leipzig

Sayed Ahmad Shah Sadaat, Former Minister of Communications of Afghanistan from the Government Ashrafa Ghani left the country at the end of 2020 and now works as a courier in Leipzig. This is reported by the Leipziger Volkszeitung.

When Sadaat ran out of money, he got a job as a pizza delivery man at Lieferando. The ex-minister hopes that this is temporary and he will soon be able to start work in a telecommunications company.

In Afghanistan, Sadaat was engaged in the development of telecom and cellular communications in rural areas and planned to launch a satellite together with China. In 2020, he resigned because he refused to use the funds allocated to his ministry to fight the Taliban.

Currently, the Taliban movement (banned in Russia as a terrorist movement) has come to power in Afghanistan, and former President Ashraf Ghani left the country.
