Analysts: the stock exchanges have already forgotten about the coronavirus – a “record year” is expected
Strong economic growth and improved demand contribute to good results for Finnish companies this summer.
Listed companies will break records this year by profit, financial analysts predict in an interview with Yle.
The companies’ results for the second quarter are expected to be tens of percent better than last year. According to Danske Bank Senior Analyst Tuukka Kemppainen , the results of will surpass even the strong performance of 2019.
– The previous record for the results was the year before last. Globally, the results will be even better in 2021, probably much better.

Chief Analyst OP Antti Saari believes that the increased investment will increase the sales of Finnish metallurgy and mechanical engineering companies. However, he notes that many consumers, accustomed to spending time at home during the pandemic, will continue to invest in the improvement of their homes.
