British military offered to give Taliban a chance to rule Afghanistan
Chief of Defense Staff of Great Britain, General Nicholas Carter believes that the Taliban could have changed and moved away from the “medieval” style of management inherent in them in the past
Taliban (the movement is recognized as terrorist and is prohibited in Russia ) must be allowed to rule Afghanistan, the current Taliban may be different from those that took over the republic in the 1990s. This was stated by the Chief of Defense Staff of the United Kingdom, General Nicholas Carter, reports Sky News.
“What we are not getting are reports that they [the Taliban] are behaving in a medieval manner, as you may have seen in past. I really think they have changed, “he pointed out.
Carter offered to “be patient” and see how the Taliban would use the power they received. The general added that the Taliban are unlikely to “want to become international outcasts again.” including at the local airport.
