Finland reports 219 new cases of coronavirus infection

In Finland, over the past day, 219 cases of coronavirus infection were recorded, according to the THL Department of Health and Social Development.

Helsinki has the highest number of new infections (52), followed by Tampere (22).

In the country's hospitals, 29 patients are being treated, five of them are in intensive care.

THL calls to refrain from traveling to Russia and to undergo a coronavirus test for everyone who has come into contact with people who have returned from Russia. More than 300 cases of coronavirus infection were detected among tourists who returned to the European Football Championship during the week.

The first dose of the coronavirus vaccine was received by 57.8% of the population, 17.7% received the full course of vaccination.
