Heat will come in the south of the country at the end of the week
At the end of the week, the southern regions of Finland will be at the mercy of a powerful anticyclone, which will bring hot weather with it. The thermometer will rise to +30 degrees and above.
The first hot day will be Friday, when the air in the southern and central parts of the country warms up to + 25 … + 29 degrees. Temperatures will continue to rise on Saturday, reaching their peak this week on Sunday, when the temperature rises above +30.
At the same time, the cyclone coming from the southwest will split Finland in half, and the weather will be cool and rainy in the north.
In the south, hot weather will continue next week. Forecast for Midsummer’s Day is still preliminary, but nothing foreshadows a sharp cold snap or heavy rains.
