Hjalmari Helander to film action movie Sisu in Lapland – Sony bought film rights

In autumn, the new action movie Sisu will begin filming in Finnish Lapland. The Sony production company has acquired the rights to international screenings of the film. Director Sisu Hjalmari Helander best known for his films “Santa for Sale” and “The Big Game.”
The new action movie starring in “Santa for Sale” Jorma Tommila and Paul Anderson , starring in the western “The Survivor” and the crime series “Peaky Blinders.”
Sisu tells the story of a Finn who has to fight a Nazi patrol alone in the wilderness of Lapland.

Filming will begin in September 2021 with a premiere in 2022. The film can also be seen on the C More streaming service.
