In Oulu, the temperature record was confused with the hot air flow of the plane

In the city of Oulu and in the north of Finland in general, there is now an unprecedented heat for these regions. Yesterday, the Oulu airport recorded a record temperature, but there was an embarrassment.
The thermometer at the airport weather station rose to 33.1 degrees on Sunday. Soon, however, it became clear that it was too early to fix the record: the thermometer reacted not to a natural phenomenon, but to the hot air flow from the turbines of the aircraft taking off. According to the meteorologist on duty Iiris Viljamaa , in general, yesterday’s temperature in Oulu did not exceed 30 degrees.
However, hopes for a temperature record have not yet been lost, since the beginning of the week will be very hot in the north.
