Ministry of Health: the test before traveling abroad must be taken in private medical companies

According to the order published by the Ministry of Health, citizens traveling abroad must undergo coronavirus testing, which is necessary before leaving, in private medical clinics, where tests are paid.

This regulation applies to both tourist and business travel.

Specialists of the Helsinki Hospital and Uusimaa HUS state that public health resources will be quickly depleted if tourists intending to go on vacation are massive take tests in the public sector.

In the same way, the real reasons why people go to municipal clinics for coronavirus tests cannot be named with certainty, since specialists want to keep the testing threshold low.
