Ministry of the Environment collects data on porpoises

Four individuals were found in the Baltic Sea last year. <7> <8> The porpoise is the only whale species that lives in the Baltic Sea. The population size is estimated at only 500 individuals. <9> <10> The porpoise can be recognized by its small, triangular dorsal fin.
