<1><2><3> <4> <5> The use of outdoor masks will no longer be mandatory in Spain from Saturday 26 June. This was stated by Pedro Sanchez, who said that this Thursday, June 24, the official registration of this decision is expected at an extraordinary meeting of the Council of Ministers. Catalonia was one of the regions that pushed for the use of outdoor masks to be optional. <6> <7> This relaxation of restrictive measures was made possible by sustained reductions in morbidity and mortality from the virus. Also in this regard, it was previously announced that, starting June 21, nightclubs may be open until 3:30 in the morning. At the same time, no one has yet undertaken to predict the dates of the possible lifting of other restrictions. <8><9> As for other countries, it is reported that France also canceled the use of masks in open spaces a couple of days ago. In countries such as Germany and the United States, outdoor use has never been compulsory. <10>
