“Owls” leave the European Football Championship

Finland did not make it to the playoffs of the European Football Championship.

Finnish “Owls” were eliminated because the national team was not included in the top four winners of the third place. At the end of the matches, the points in Group B were distributed as follows: Belgium (9), Denmark (3), Finland (3), Russia (3).

The two best teams from each group passed to the playoffs, and also the top four of the six third place winners, i.e. the Czech Republic, Portugal, Switzerland and Ukraine.

At UEFA EURO 2020, the Finns beat Denmark 1-0, were beaten 0-1 by Russia and from Belgium with a score of 0: 2.
