Police: criminal gang from Romania delivered prostitutes to Finland for seven years

The police have completed the investigation into the case of trafficking in persons and aggravated pimping.

The criminal activity continued for seven years.

According to the police, the Romanian-led criminal group supplied several dozen women to Finland who were prostituted here.

Women offered their services almost all over southern Finland, for example in the capital region, Turku and Tampere , as well as in the north of the country, including in Oulu and Kemi.

Five men and one woman were detained in the case.
