Spain’s largest climbing wall to open in Barcelona

Founded by renowned climber Chris Sharma, Sharma Climbing will open Spain’s largest climbing wall in Gava, just a few minutes by car or public transport from Barcelona city center. This space with a total wall area of ​​4300 m² and a height of up to 19 meters, which is scheduled to open in September this year, aims to become the headquarters of indoor climbing in Europe.

This is the second project of Chris Sharma in Catalonia, which is considered the best climber in the world. Its smaller climbing wall is located in Barcelona on Calle Marroc 206.
