Survey: health and social workers are frequently sexually harassed

Health and social workers are often sexually harassed, according to a recent survey by the Tehy Social and Health Workers Union.

Among respondents 30 % have experienced this phenomenon in the workplace.

The most common harassment is clients and patients, and in particular workers under 35 are harassed.

Sexual harassment is unwanted behavior (verbal, non-verbal, physical ) of a sexual nature, which violate the mental and physical unconditionedness of a person.

Over 4,000 trade union members took part in the survey.
