Tampere hosted a flash mob against the sexualization of female nipples

Last weekend, a feminist flash mob was held in Tampere with about 120 participants. A protest against the sexualization of women’s breasts took place at the Rauhanniemi Swimming Center, from which several topless vacationing activists were expelled a month ago.

Participants in a flash mob organized by the activist movement Cult Cunth protested against gender inequality in relation to breasts. Support actions were held in other cities: 40 people came to the action in Turku, about a hundred in Helsinki, in Jyväskylä, Joensuu, Kuopio, Rovaniemi, Oulu, Salo and Uryala several dozen.

The Rauhanniemi administration said that the action went smoothly. They explain that on the beach everyone can be without a top, and in the sauna women should be covered with their breasts, since the Finnish bath culture may be unusual for foreign tourists.
