Ten injured after shooting at club in southern Italy
The shots were reportedly fired during a student party, during a brawl between two gangs of young people

A party that turns into a shootout. Ten people were slightly injured by a man who opened fire at a nightclub in southern Italy on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, AFP reports, citing Italian media.

According to Anza (Agenzia nazionale stampa associata, the main Italian press agent), the facts occurred during a student party at the San Vito Yachting Club, in Taranto, Puglia. Some 300 people were present at the time.
The shooting was reportedly due to a dispute between two gangs of young people from different neighborhoods. One of the youths reportedly opened fire with a 9mm pistol. The victims, aged between 20 and 28, were shot in the legs, or injured in the stampede that followed. But none are in serious condition. Also according to Anza, one person was arrested.
