The entire Uusimaa region has entered the acceleration phase of the epidemic

Medical District of Helsinki and Uusimaa HUS has fully entered the phase of accelerating the spread of the epidemic. This was announced by the Coronacrisis Coordination Council.

The Council recommends that the restrictions on assemblies be extended throughout Uusimaa, and the current restrictive measures should be extended in the metropolitan area.

The Coordination Council also calls for compliance with restrictive measures during private events. Gatherings of more than 10 people should be prohibited if it is impossible to ensure a distance of 2 meters between the participants.

The final decision on this issue will be made by the regional authorities of Southern Finland (avi).
