The first pickers of wild berries arrived – the harvest of cloudberries and blueberries will be worse than last year

The cloudberry and blueberry season begins. The first groups of foreign pickers arrived in Finland.

This is reported by the Association of Natural Food Entrepreneurs.

Almost 3,000 cloudberry and blueberry pickers will come to Finland from Thailand this summer. The number of pickers from Ukraine is estimated at about 500-600.

Due to the drought, the harvest of wild berries is expected to be worse than last year.
