The historic Philip II train is back on track soon
The route can be completed depending on the package chosen: a self-guided tour or a guided tour of the Real Monasterio de San Lorenzo de El Escorial. It is also possible to choose a theatrical visit to the village and monastery in order to dive deeper into a past life. It is reported that the first tickets will be on sale in a special promotion with a 20% discount.
The train consists of a head carriage and four original carriages of the early 20th century. The trip along the tracks with a length of about 60 kilometers will last one hour. The train will run every weekend and holidays: departure at 10:20 and return at 17:25. Schedules may vary depending on the season.
