The Home Store Association strongly recommends wearing masks in retail spaces
The Consumer Store Association strongly recommends wearing masks in retail areas. At the same time, the organization said in a statement that within the framework of current legislation, they cannot force people to use respiratory protection.
The Association emphasizes that stores must ensure the availability of household goods and food for consumers in all situations.
For example, the Uusimaa authorities have issued a recommendation that private enterprises should require their clients to use masks. The recommendation applies, inter alia, to shops and shopping centers.
Earlier in the retail chains K and S stated that they do not yet have the resources to check whether customers have masks. At the same time, they intend to remind customers of their benefits. Vendors also say that security measures have been increased in stores, in particular, sanitizers are being offered to customers everywhere.
