The number of vacancies rose to pre-pandemic level

According to the Statistics Center, the number of vacancies returned to the level of spring 2019.

In April-June, 51,100 vacancies were opened in Finland, compared with 35,400 a year earlier.

The largest increase in vacancies occurred in the trade, transportation and storage sectors, as well as in the restaurant and hotel sectors, where 6,700 new vacancies appeared.

The largest number of vacancies increased in Helsinki and the Uusimaa region, with 5,800 new jobs.
