The trees felled by hurricane Paula are trying to find a use

The Forestry Administration of Northern Finland is investigating the damage caused by Hurricane Paula that swept over Finland on Midsummer’s Eve. The observation is carried out from a helicopter.

According to preliminary estimates, in the Koillismaa, Kainuu and North Pohyanmaa regions, the storm knocked down a million cubic meters of trees.

Felled wood of suitable quality will be put on the logs. The wood will also be used in industry. Some will go to the needs of enterprises.
